    I-multiplexer iyisisetshenziswa sikagesi esingaguqula iziteshi eziningi zesignali zibe isethi yamashaneli esignali.

    Amadivaysi e-Multiplex ngokuvamile asetshenziswa ekucubunguleni isignali yedijithali noma ye-Analog ukuze kukhethwe noma kushintshwe phakathi kwamasignali okokufaka amaningi. Ama-multiplexer anikezwe yi-Qualwave afaka ama-diplexer nama-triplexer.

    I-Duplexer, eyaziwa nangokuthi i-antenna evamile, iqukethe amasethi amabili esihlungi se-Band-stop esinamaza ahlukene.     I-triplex iqukethe izihlungi ezintathu (izimbobo) ezabelana ngenodi eyodwa (imbobo). Izinhloso zokulayisha i-passband kanye nokuhlukaniswa kwe-duplexer ziyefana nalezo ze-duplexer. Kuzinhlelo ze-frequency division duplex, ukusetshenziswa okuvamile kwe-triplex iwukuhlanganisa ama-diplex amabili abe yi-triplex eyodwa.

    Izici ze-multiplexer:

    1. Izimpawu zokufaka eziningi zingahlanganiswa zibe isignali yokuphuma eyodwa ukuze kuzuzwe ukudluliswa kwesignali okudidiyelwe.
    2. Iziteshi zokufaka ezihlukene zingakhethwa ukuze kuzuzwe ukudluliswa ngesikhathi esisodwa kwamasignali amaningi.
    3. Ngokuvamile, amasango anengqondo (afana namasango, NOMA amasango, njll.) kanye namaswishi (njengamasango okudlulisa, izikhethi, njll.) asetshenziselwa ukwakha ama-multiplexer.

    Ukusetshenziswa kwe-multiplexer:

    1. Uhlelo lwezokuxhumana: Lusetshenziswa kakhulu ezinhlelweni zokuxhumana, isicelo esisodwa esivamile ukuhlanganisa amasignali amaningi okuxhumana abe isignali eyodwa ukuze kudluliselwe ukuxhumana okuphumelelayo.
    2. Idizayini yesekethe yedijithali: Ingasetshenziselwa ukucubungula nokudlulisa amasiginali amaningi ekwakhiweni kwesekethe yedijithali.
    3. Ukugcinwa kwedatha: Kungasetshenziselwa ukugcinwa kwedatha ukuze kuzuzwe okokufaka ngesikhathi esisodwa kanye nokuphuma kwamasignali amaningi ngokukhetha iziteshi zokufaka ezihlukene.
    4. Ukushintsha ubuchwepheshe: Kuyingxenye ebalulekile ekushintsheni ubuchwepheshe obusetshenziselwa ukukhetha amashaneli ahlukene okokufaka nokukhiphayo ukuze kuzuzwe ukushintsha kwamashaneli amaningi.

    Qualwaveinikeza ukwenqatshwa okuphezulu kwe-stopband yokuphindaphinda kasayizi omncane ebangeni le-DC-40GHz. Ama-multiplexers asetshenziswa kabanzi ezinhlelweni eziningi.
